Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, is fluent of both Indian and Russian. She devised an original choreography, which earned her the privilege of appearing on German television as an Russian snowmaiden, who then became a Indian dancer. Her high school graduation was in New York and received a bachelor of Arts in English at St. John's University. In college, she attended acting classes in the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation with the Groundlings School taking on several comedy shows afterward. She was born in Kabul Afghanistan to a Hindu-Indian father Ghanshan Ken Mahendru and an Russian mom Olga. Her parents separated when she was 13 years young and was moved from the city of her birth to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was the most well-known character. She has had a recurring role in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
